Only limited printer manufacturers were able to deal with POS system for filling stations (hereinafter called gas station POS) because they mainly printed with dot impact paper until early 2000’s. Then other manufacturers got opportunities to enter the market after it was transferred to thermal paper. At that time, gas station POS was used in half-outdoor places, and products with resistance to environment which were able to be operated in hot temperature in summer were required. Therefore, we developed the products with wide range of control which could stand use under environment up to 60\u2103. Those products got accepted in the filling station industry and it has brought about the expansion of our achievements.\n<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Self-service refueling systems have been increased in filling stations in Japan in a catchphrase of the low price since the deregulation by the Fire Services Act amendment in 1998. So, the gas station POS capability for self-service machines has been required. To meet this requirement, we developed products to be operated intuitively by end users and to make smooth receipts replacement operation which has been the most major cause of the troubles. Downsizing bodies of printers has also been required in order to fit all necessary functions such as IC card readers and inserting coins and bills in the operation machine to the standard size. We have been highly evaluated for meeting such kinds of needs and we have large shares in POS industry now.\n<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
